Begin by choosing a brief, original text about faith that you have authored, perhaps a short excerpt from a recently published book (less than 12 months from release date by trade publisher), a performance of one verse and chorus of an original song (from an album professionally produced and released) or an original visual artwork along with commentary. 

To get started, in addition to viewing several episodes on the RPW YouTube channel, study the following examples of texts appropriate for spiritual reading, audio, and visio divina.  In brief, we are looking for professional creative works that have “excess meaning”; that is, texts that invite, engage, and inspire audiences to go deeper, building a faith life that is both contemplative and expressive in action.
